Hi! It's Nice to Meet You!

My name is Dominique and I hope that you're having a great day before I start. This is hopefully my final year at UMBC (fingers crossed). I am an English Major with a Minor in Africana Studies so I love any content that intersects these two academic fields of study. Fun Fact I used to be a competitive gymnast, and love trying out innovative forms of expressing athleticism, or at least forms of athletics that I have not been privy to in my experience. I also know how to knit, which is interesting because when I was younger people would call me a grandma for this skill and as I got older people wanted to learn.

And as far as life goes I think one idea that is currently important to me can be summed up by the cliche "smell the roses." Learning to live a little is my current phase of life and I hope it serves me well in the future.
