Introduction

Hello,

I am Mary and I am a senior Global Studies major. I'm taking this class as part of my Communication & Technology minor. I currently am interning in communications for a nonprofit, so this class should be very pertinent to my career.

I am planning to study the animal rights movement for my work in this class. I am vegan, so it's a movement that is dear to my heart, and one I am very familiar with. It's broad enough to give me lots of content, and there's also plenty of in-fighting to allow me to consider many perspectives and strategies.
