Introduction

Hi everyone! My name is Ellie, and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a junior majoring in English on the Communication and Technology track. I currently commute to campus as I recently moved in with my girlfriend in Columbia, MD. I'm originally from Cornwall, England, though, and I can't wait to hopefully move back there after college and write books on the ocean's cliffside.

For my movement, I decided to focus on #ActuallyAutistic. I spent the entirety of last semester researching and reporting on the the racial disparities in autism diagnosis and treatment, which was heavily inspired by my girlfriend as she is a Black autistic woman. With this background, I hope to take what I know and apply it to this research into one of the most popular social movements within the developmental disability community.
