Hello! My name is Caleb and I am an English and linguistics double-major at UMBC. I am also minoring in Arabic language and culture. I love hiking and camping, especially with friends and family. I also love making music. I have been playing piano for the past 15 years, and I am currently teaching myself guitar and drums. My brothers (ages 11 and 12) and I have a band and we perform for friends and family whenever we have the chance.
This semester I will be following different Foster Care movements, specifically ones in Anne Arundel County. I chose this movement because my family has been fostering children for the past 13 years. Four out of the five kids in my family have been adopted from the foster system, and I have a passion for fostering and adopting. I will be exploring the hashtags #fostercareawareness and #fostercareadoption. I hope to be able to learn more about the many different organizations and people who give up their precious time and resources to help serve foster kids and raise awareness for the many ways in which the foster system can be improved.

Love your movement! One of my best friends from home was in the foster system for a long time until The Millers (we call them) adopted him. 17 others were also adopted by this family. Would love to know more about how it all works.
