They link environmental issues to human issues of hunger and poverty. Their work involves creating photographic and video campaigns that highlight environmental justice issues. On both their website blog and their twitter, they share the stories of environmental justice issues and environmental justice successes that they work on throughout the world.
EPA Office of Environmental Justice
The EPA's Office of Environmental Justice works toward combatting environmental injustice legislatively. They're a department within the federal government that provides oversight, research, and legislation involving environmental justice issues. As part of a federal agency, their twitter page shares a lot of stories from the legislative side of environmental justice. This includes highlighting their own plans and showcasing what other federal agencies and departments are doing that work toward environmental justice.
WE ACT for EJ
WE ACT is a non-profit organization that helps to organize low income communities and communities of color to combat environmental injustice perpetrated against them. They educate and organize residents so they can participate fully in changes that would affect them. Their twitter page shares stories written by other environmental justice news agencies and blogs, along with news of WE ACT's own advocacy around the issues they champion. They have a strong lean toward news of activist activities.
